Polka Dotty Pillow
Still working on the ol' living room. Remember the suggestions post back in February? This one? Well I've got most of the cheaper, easier projects done like decorative pillows and curtains. I've been saving up for the bigger projects and they are just starting. But for today I've just got a pillow to share with you. A polka dotty pillow made out of felt.
To make the pillow, I cut out a square for the front of my pillow cover. I then cut out 4 different sized circles out of the same felt (purchased by the yard at JoAnn's). I then pinned them on to the square until I liked the look. I then sewed each one down with upholstery thread. It's thicker and shows better. A bit time consuming but simple. The back is an envelope style opening using the same fabric as I used for the curtains.
Your dotty pillow looks great. I love how it coordinates so well with your drapes! Thanks for linking up!
