Chair Before & After

A couple of weeks ago I picked up this little chair yard selling with my daughter for 3$. I painted and antiqued the chair with glaze and then added some new padding to the seat and recovered it. My sweeter than sweet sister-in-law gave me the fabric remnants from some pillows she made that I used for the seat cover. Thanks Sophie! I love how fun and bright it is.

I had on hand yellow or green paint that matched and decided to go with the yellow. It's the same color as the little bench I picked up and one of my dinning room table chairs (Krylon- Bright Idea).

Well, back to work. My hubby gave me the thumbs up to tackle some of the bigger projects I want done if I save a certain sum of money. I've never been so motivated...though I did a bit of a fabric splurge this week. Nobody mention any other fun projects to me, deal? I can't seem to contain myself. Anyway, I'm about a hundred bucks shy and then I get to whip out the big guns. Sooo excited.
