Another crafty day with my sisters and mom has come and gone. This time we made extender slips. I made one for my little girl. I just followed my sister-in-law's directions. It was a fast and simple project. You can find a tutorial here, here, or here.
So fast and simple, I had time to whip up two bubble skirts as well. I've been wanting to make a bubble skirt for ages and when I saw this tutorial using a serger I wished I owned one. I was excited when the magic of craft day brought me and a serger together. Such a quick and fun skirt to make.
I made them for a 4T/5T. The skirt hits right about my daughters knee and my measurements came out-
Waistband- 10 1/4X6
Inner Skirt- 9X31
Outer Skirt- 11X31
Mallory is wearing her skirt today and it fits just right. My measurements ended up being a lot different that the measurements listed on the tutorial for her age and she is of average height so I thought I'd post what I came up with. Take it for what it's worth. :) She measures 10.5 inches from waist to top of knee cap.
