Baby Boy Gift

This is a car seat cover I made for a friend who is expecting. I've got a lot of those right now. And expecting sisters, too. woohoo! Stay tuned for many more baby items. They are so fun to make. I'm thrilled to have an excuse to do so.

The fabric are from Baby Safari by Carina Gardner (Splish splash in lime and Elephant Parade in Lime). The turquoise fabric was a last minute filler when I realized I didn't have enough fabric due to the direction of the elephant pattern. The covers measurements I snagged from this tutorial. For the bottom and top I pieced together 3X4.5 inch rectangles.

I made this coordinating bib out of the scraps. Do you ever sit and think to yourself how much you want to keep something for yourself while making it. That was me while making this set. I mean I have no use for them right now but I just love how they turned out. I have a thing for elephants right now. I hope my friends dig them too.
