Woohoo! I succeeded at making my first ever stuffed animal. I've really been itching to do so. I made this cutie for my niece. It took me a while to finish because I ended up frustrated by its face. Next time I'd not follow directions and sew the face on before stuffing. I think it would be so much easier. Little Miss Octopus (we'll leave the name choosing for my niece) didn't get the cutesy touches like eyelashes I was hoping for but she's still quite a catch. You can find
the tutorial here though as you can see I changed it up to make it a bit easier for my first attempt. I totally stink at the "ladder stitch" too. Tricky stuff...
Awww, she is so, so cute! I love it! And I think yours is about a billion times cuter than the one on the instructions . . . nice job, lady :-) I want to make one now, too!
