Feelin' Lucky

I'm feeling pretty lucky today. I was on a field trip this morning with my three year old and her Preschool class. We went to Article Circle where they got to make their own ice cream cones. So exciting. On the way back to the classroom I was the first car with the other mom's following. When turning the corner I spotted this.

Of course I pulled right over, opened up the back, and shoved it on in! All the other moms driving by and looking at me like I'm crazy and all it was totally worth it. The desk was a tight fit but I made it come home with me. 

I have one little girl who is pretty excited. 

When I got back to the house my husband confessed that he'd purchased a new shirt on-line while I was gone and I confessed I brought yet another "piece of junk" to add to my "to do" pile accumulating in the garage. No arguments from either side. What a good morning.

Now to decide on a color... 

Then I got on the computer after lunch to find out I won a giveaway from Remodelaholic! Woohoo! If you haven't checked out the site before please do! It's one of my favorite sites with tons of cool tutorials and inspiration!

I won one of three dressed from Shabby Apple. I'm not feeling so bad that this dress my hubby bought me for our anniversary didn't fit right.

Five to Nine

I'm not sure if the link on the last one is right. :S 

I really dig Cider but am not sure if the sleeves are long enough to work and keep me modest, if you know what I mean. Maybe number two...or three...

I finished a dresser yesterday but somehow after already taking an extra trip for knobs I'm still short one. I went to pick it up last night and was shocked when Hobby Lobby was closed at 8:05. It's new in our area so I just hadn't paid attention. All the other craft stores are open until 9:00. Total bummer. So I'll pick it up tonight and post it tomorrow.

Really, can this day get any better?
