Bathroom Stool

I bought this step stool at a yard sale for $1.75. It's nice and sturdy and I knew just where to put it.

After a few coats of paint and a tree "stencil" it's the perfect stool for my four year old to reach the bathroom sink. I went with a tree because the bathroom is done in owls. The tree is cut from Cricut's Mickey and Friends cartridge. I wanted to do white and yellow stripes as the background around the tree but remembered the rug is striped. Instead I dry brushed it.

There she is, my Mallory. She can even see herself in the mirror now and rinse her own mouth without me straining my back lifting her up. I used all paints we had on hand so the stool only cost me the $1.75. Mallory is a happy camper thus I am too.

  1. That is such a cute step stool! I so need one, not for the kiddos, but for me to get to the top shelves of the pantry!

Really need to find one of these!
