Halloween Banner {Take One}

I took a deposit check today for a mantel (I'm not that DIY) -- a mantel where I can actually hang all these banners I've been making.

I. Can't. Wait.

Seriously pumped. After hoping for one since we moved, I saved up for it myself. Sometime you just gotta make these things happen. I do have to paint and caulk the fireplace surround so it's like 20% DIY. That counts, right? Until it's installed you get photos of it taped to my bedroom wall. Sad news.

My sister-in-law Marianne and I are on top of the holiday decor. After making this one with her I got an idea for another banner. I'll get that one finished and posted soon with a tutorial as well. I've had some bib tutorial requests as well which I am working on too. Requests are welcome for such things.

For the cute little bat at the beginning and end I used a pattern from Paper & Strings.
