4th Porch Decor

My porch has been empty just begging for some attention. I have a turquoise chair with a decorated basket (pics here) but it felt lonely. So today I made a red, white, and blue garland. I made it using leftover fabrics from a couple projects including last years 4th of July pillow covers.

I also found a bench a couple weeks ago. It needed some color as well. I purchased a 3$ vinyl table cloth and made a couple pillow covers out of it. I then made some sashes out of my leftover navy star fabric to make them coordinate with my garland a little better. They are removable. I looped them through the bench to help hold my pillows up in the crazy winds we get in our city.

I also made another smaller banner for my mantle...my non-existent mantle. Errr, I'll just store it until next year. It'll happen one of these days...I'm determined.
