As I mentioned in my last post my daughter just turned four. She received some super adorable handmade gifts that I am about to share with you. Ready? Ok.
First we have the sweetest little dress and matching purse my mother-in-law made for her. Did I mention I took 351 pics of my cutie pie in less than 48 hours? Thus the face. I took too many photos of her as a child I guess because she hates having her picture taken. She does love her dress and purse. After she opened it she had me put it on her over her clothes and wore it until it was time to get her PJ's on.
Then we have these super cool sponge balls my SIL Alyson made to go with the pool and beach ball she gave Mallory. We can't wait for warmer weather!
I didn't make these but they are handmade. Didn't it turn out fantastic!?!? I'll post more on the name puzzle tomorrow.
My sister Kira made Mallory a diaper bag, cloth diapers, and a blanket. They got a little wet traveling here all the way from Iowa but Mallory didn't care. She put the diapers on the My Little Pony stuffed animal my other sister Sierra gave her right away. We didn't want any accidents...
My SIL Ashley made Mallory a fun apron. She is fully clothed ladies and gentlemen. She decided to wear some of the new summer wardrobe she received today. :) My little boy William loves the apron too! His grandma gave him a balloon as well and he walked around holding on to it allllll day today. No joke. All day.
Of course I made Mallory an applique shirt. I think she's excited about it. What a hoot. ;) Shes watched me make many appliqued items and this the first I've made for her. She kept trying to get me to give her one of the bibs I made so I thought it was about time.
Last but not least there is the cake my cousin Sarai made for Mallory. She volunteered to do so (she's trying to break into the cake decorating business) and I was more than happy to sit back, relax, and eat it. It's Little Red Riding Hood theme. Mallory absolutely loved the cake, her gifts, her parties, and the entire birthday package.
OH that is so extra fun!! I love all the presents and the cake!! Awesome!!
ReplyDeleteCUTE! The dress/purse/ spongeballs (fun idea!)- aprons, diapers, bag, owl shirt- wow! totally awesome.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute stuff for a super cute girly!
(so um, I enlarged the owl shirt photo to better admire it- is mal wearing makeup? her lips and eyes look all pretty and done up! :) )
Thanks Tawna, we missed you guys! Hope singing time went smoothly. :)
ReplyDeleteNo, no makeup. She's just naturally beautiful I guess. She likes to lick her lips which makes them red. :S
I'm working on making patterns and the owl is one of them. I think she's cute but maybe not the most original. Owls are tough cause there are so many of them! That's cause people like us love them so I guess. :)
What talented relatives you have. Cute gifts!!
