Airplane Pillow

Slowly but surely I am getting my son William's room put together. You remember the dresser, right? Well, my sweet mother-in-law made Will this quilt when he was born which was my jumping off point for the decor. The burgundy airplane fabric is my favorite from the quilt so I picked some up to use around the room.

I had planned to reuse some old blue curtains I'd made for the apartment we lived in years ago. I hung them up to discover they were about a foot to short. I was annoyed so I just left them hanging there looking stupid for about a month or two. I finally had time today to hem and hang a new hit-the-window-sill curtain (possibly done, possibly not) and I cut up a panel of the too short curtains to make this airplane pillow cover. The airplane applique shape is a Cricut cut. The cloud sheets are from Target.
