Good Bye Mirror & Sneak Peek

I did something today I've wanted to do in a long time. I pried down our master bathroom mirror. Those suckers are heavy! It wasn't on our top priority list, especially since we have a kitchen redo planned out this month (fingers crossed), but then we heard it. A drip. Last year we sprung a leak in our kitchen wall and had to have it gutted and it was poorly put back together. We've been saving up ever since to get it up to par. Mold city.

So where that mirror was I now get to cut out a hole and take a peek inside. I checked the walls (the guest bath is on the backside of the wall) and there is no sign of water damage but we can still hear that blasted dripping. So we are checkin' it out. I'm nervous we'll be opening up a can of worms...and our pocket book. Please don't take my kitchen savings Mr. Drip. I beg you!

I am excited that it means I get to pick out a new mirror. Our master bath has looked like a teens for the past two years. It's about time it grows up! I've already picked out a wall color (well, my paint swatches stank so my husband went and picked out "the one"), I bought a new shower curtain, and hand towels (the hand towel ring has been vacant since we moved in). I'm also going to replace those terrible lights and spruce up the vanity. As for what to put on the wall I am lost. Any suggestions?

Here's a little sneak peek of some projects to come. Don't ask me why I hoard them but I do. :) Some I like to finish ninety five percent of and then let them sit for a month or two as well...
