Monster Shirt

I just got into applique and I am addicted. I love it! It's fun, quick, and easy...not to mention adorable too! Brace yourself for a ton of fabulous applique projects to come. I made this hip monster shirt for my nephew for Christmas.

Did everyone hit the after Christmas sells today? My best buy is a stoneware serving platter that matches my serving dishes for $2.50! Score!! I got a lot of cute Christmas decor for next year, wrapping paper, and more matching garland for my tree so it doesn't look so sparse next year. I love getting a deal! I also picked up some supplies for a few Valentines Day projects.

I must say though that dragging two kids around while bargain shopping makes it not as fabulous especially when your basket is full, your three year old has to use the restroom, and your one year old can't be left alone while you take her. Isn't life exciting? :)
