Burp Cloths- Handmade Baby Gifts (Day 2)
Starting off with the easier stuff here, peeps. Anything I can make you can make, so don't think I'll be going all Martha on you by the end of the week. I promise not all the projects I'll be sharing are appliqued, too. I just have an applique addiction that needed to come out to play this week. I think it's out of my system now.
Um yes, moving on. Burp clothes! Easy, low cost to make, and you can download a free pattern from Nature's Heirloom. If you can sew a semi-straight line you can make a burp cloth. So many ways to dress them up too. Add a little applique, some rick rack, or leave them plain.
Make a matching set (some of those to come) and you've got yourself a great little handmade gift.
Lisa,
ReplyDeleteThese are really cute. It looks like you used oil cloth on one of the samples. Love it!

Very cute. I love the things you have sewn, I need to work on my sewing skills by the time all my friends start having babies.
