It's now a fun dark blue which I had on hand already from a previous project. I dig how a little bit of paint can give a quick facelift. Quick if you don't procrastinate that is...
Our kitchen is the turquoise I use for my backdrop in just about every photo. Love it. Happiest room in the house.
Master Bath. I switched out the mirror, painted the walls, and painted the vanity. The vanity is laminate and I didn't prep the doors well enough. The paint scratched easily. I was seriously annoyed and let them sit unattached for longer than I'm willing to admit to. I had to strip the paint, re-prep, and paint them again.
Here's another view. It had more of a kids bathroom feel before. I still need to figure out some sort of wall art. Any suggestions? I think the vanity is calling for some hardware too...but for now it's good enough that I'm willing to call it done.
Two projects down, a handful or more to go...
You've inspired me yet again! I think, once my kitchen curtains are done that I'm going to pick yet another color and paint the inside of my pantry, too. The door is already a really cool shade of green to go with my purple wall. Hmmmm, what to do what to do. . .
ReplyDeleteI remember your purple wall (which I love) but don't recall your green door. I must come see.
DeleteJust don't get me in trouble with your husband. :)
Love the accent color in your pantry! Now I wish I had one!
ReplyDeleteAnd the stripes in the bathroom! Great choice!
Looking forward to seeing more!
Pretty! One day, when I get a house I can decorate, will you come and decorate it for me? :) Seriously. I have no decor talent....
ReplyDeleteOf course. :)
DeleteLove turquoise, makes any room in the house seem happy!
ReplyDeleteLove the shower curtain! Where can I find it and what are your paint colors? Please let me know if possible, thank you! :) jillyjill68 jrz68@hotmail.com
