Fabulous Find- A Seat For Two

My sister-in-law and I went antique shopping recently and I found this little beauty at a consignment shop (Mona Lisa's in American Fork for my fellow Utahns). I lurve it. I refused to go home without it. After a decent amount of time fretting over my husband's response to my frivolous spending and talking the nice shop owner down thirty percent it was mine.

Now our upstairs landing is usable space. Subconsciously I think I was hoping she wouldn't get a lot of use. I want my lil' buttercup to last through the years and stay nice for the grandchildren. However, my kids use it as a place to read, a place to color, a place to do puzzles, a place to hide things (the seat opens), and an oven to bake their delicious make believe recipes. They love it as much as I do. If it brings happiness and beauty to my home then it truly is a fabulous find.
