I'm heading off to girl's camp this week. We have secret sisters that we give gifts to throughout the week and this is one of them I made for my secret sister. I took a dollar notebook with a hardcover and made this fabric cover with flower applique for it.
I got my inspiration from this 2 Peas in a Bucket card I came across on Pinterest. I made a flower petal template out of cardstock and cut four petals each out of three different fabrics. The center I used Nestabilities scalloped circle die and a couple of buttons.
If you need some directions on how to make the cover there are a couple tutorials here, here, and here that will help.
And if you're looking for a scrumptious peanut butter cookie recipe I found this one to be a winner. I think I'll have another one now...
Oh my goodness, that's adorable! I wish I were your secret sister ;-) So cute! I bet she just loved it.
ReplyDeleteuh, where's mine? send some cookies, too, please :P
